Company announcement

Cooper Lighting is recalling approximately 42,000 Metalux Optimized High Bay LED light fixtures nationwide.

The recall is due to a fire hazard where the LED's board can overheat or contact combustible materials.

The firm has received nine reports of the light fixtures catching fire, but no injuries or property damage have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled light fixtures.

The LED’s board can overheat or come into contact with the lens or nearby combustible materials, posing a fire hazard.
