Cooluli is recalling approximately 250,000 10-Liter and 15-Liter minifridges due to an electrical switch malfunction.
This issue poses fire and burn hazards. The recall applies to units sold nationwide through online retailers like Amazon.com and Cooluli.com.
Cooluli has received 19 reports of minifridges smoking, sparking, burning, melting, overheating, or catching fire, resulting in over $80,000 in property damages. One consumer reported a smoke inhalation injury.
Risk:
The recalled minifridges’ electrical switch can short circuit, posing fire and burn hazards.
