Company announcement

Ritchey Design is recalling approximately 775 Carbon Fiber Bicycle Forks due to a defect where an alloy insert in the front crown hole can detach.

This defect can lead to accessories falling onto the front wheel, creating a fall and crash hazard for riders.

The recall applies nationwide, with products sold at retailers in California (Chico, Orange) and Colorado (Boulder), as well as online.

One incident of the alloy insert coming loose has been reported, but no injuries or deaths have occurred.

The recall was announced on August 13, 2026.
