New Age International Inc. is recalling all lots of Daily Veggies brand Enoki Mushroom (200g) from Korea due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The recalled mushrooms were distributed to wholesalers in New York, who then distributed to other states.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

Contamination was discovered after samples collected from a store in West Virginia on January 14, 2025, revealed the presence of Listeria Monocytogenes.

Consumers should destroy or return the product for a full refund.

Risk:

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. In healthy persons, it may cause short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
