Company announcement

Kobayashi is recalling HotHands-branded rechargeable hand warmers due to a risk of fire and burn hazards.

The lithium-ion battery and electrical components in the hand warmers can overheat and ignite.

The product was sold nationwide in the United States and in Canada from July 2025 through August 2026.

The recall date is October 1, 2026.

No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Consumers should stop using the product immediately and contact Kobayashi for a full refund.
