Company announcement

Wholesale Produce Supply is recalling fresh cut/processed cantaloupe due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled cantaloupe was sold to distributors in Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin, and may have been distributed to other states under the “Harvest Cuts” and “Fresh and Finest” brands.

No illnesses have been reported as of September 29, 2025.

Risk:

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. In healthy individuals, it may cause short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
