E.A. Sween Company Recalls Pulled Pork Sandwich Products Due to Possible Foreign Matter Contamination

Company announcement
E.A. Sween Company is recalling approximately 127,887 pounds of pulled pork sandwich products due to possible contamination with pieces of plastic.
The affected products were produced between January 13, 2025, and October 15, 2025, and shipped to retail locations nationwide, including the Department of Defense.
No injuries have been confirmed, but consumers are urged not to consume the recalled products.
Risk:
FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
