Company announcement

KC Imports and Exports is recalling approximately 9,600 Mini Laser Pointer Keychains due to an ingestion hazard posed by easily accessible button cell batteries.

The product and its packaging lack the mandatory warnings required under Reese’s Law, and the accessible batteries can cause serious internal injuries or death if swallowed.

The keychains were sold nationwide at gas stations and discount stores, and online, from June 2025 through June 2026.

No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall as of August 6, 2026.

The Mini Laser Pointer Keychains violate mandatory safety standards because button cell and coin batteries are easily accessible to children, posing an ingestion hazard.
