Company announcement

Quesito El Establo is recalling all Queso Español (Quesito Colombiano) products due to rodent presence and insanitary conditions at the production facility.

The recalled cheese was distributed in Massachusetts at retail stores catering to the Hispanic/Latino community.

All products with a code of AUG 22 2025 or earlier are included in the recall.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

Risk:

Use or consumption of the affected products may represent a risk of illness due to the possible presence of Salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in infants, young children, frail or elderly people, pregnant women, persons with pre-existing conditions, and others with weakened immune systems.
