Company announcement

Liizousuda Paint Thinner bottles have been recalled due to a lack of child-resistant packaging. The product was sold on Amazon.com from March 2025 through February 2026. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Consumers are advised to immediately secure the recalled paint thinner away from children and contact Shenzhen Gudebo Technology for a replacement bottle with a child-resistant closure.

Risk:

The paint thinner contains low-viscosity petroleum distillates. These substances must be in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. However, the bottles are not child-resistant, which poses a significant risk. If swallowed by young children, the contents can cause serious injury or death from poisoning. Furthermore, petroleum distillates can lead to chemical pneumonia and/or pulmonary damage if they enter the lungs, which can be fatal.
