Hayward Industries is recalling approximately 4,600 Universal-HC Series pool heaters. These heaters were sold nationwide from March 2026 through July 2026. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Risk:
During operation the heaters can produce high levels of carbon monoxide (CO), posing a risk of serious injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.
