Company announcement
A public health alert has been issued for frozen pork and beef tortellini due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
The product may contain pork and beef toasted ravioli, which contains soy and sesame, known allergens not declared on the label.
The product was shipped to a Schnucks distribution center in Missouri and further distributed to store locations in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
No adverse reactions have been reported.
Risk:
FSIS is issuing this public health alert to ensure that consumers with allergies to soy and sesame are aware that this product should not be consumed. A recall was not requested because the products are no longer available for purchase.
Impacted states: IL, IN, MO, WI
