Western United Fish Company recalls 3,314.7 lbs of Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination in green onions.
The product was sold at Costco Warehouse stores in multiple states including Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin on September 18, 2025.
No illnesses have been reported as of September 20, 2025.
Risk:
Organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can lead to serious pregnancy complications among pregnant women.
