Monkey Spit, LLC is recalling three types of barbecue sauces due to undeclared allergens.
The affected products were distributed in retail stores on the central coast of California and through mail orders.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall was initiated after an FDA inspection revealed undeclared allergens on the product labels.
Production has been suspended until the issue is resolved.
Risk:
People who have allergies to milk/wheat/soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
