Lidl US is recalling one lot of Vitasia Asian Style Wok Spice Mix 1.58 oz (45g) due to potential Salmonella contamination.
The recalled product was distributed between July 24, 2026 and August 10, 2026 to retail stores in Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
Risk:
Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.
