Company announcement

Hofood99 Inc is recalling 200g packages of Enoki Mushroom due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled mushrooms were distributed nationwide and sold in retail stores.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.

Risk:

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons may suffer short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
