Louisville Ladder, Inc. is recalling over one million attic stairway ladders.
The recall affects Louisville, Featherlite, Lite, and Century brand attic stairway ladders with gas struts.
These ladders were sold nationwide in the U.S. and approximately 13,054 units were sold in Canada.
The company has received 11 reports of bolts breaking, including one report of an injury to the neck, head, and back.
The ladders were sold from November 2012 through July 2026.

The bolts on the attic stairway ladders can break while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fall hazard.
