Made Fresh Salads, Inc. is recalling assorted flavors of cream cheese and tofu spread due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The affected products were distributed in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and New York City via direct delivery to retail stores and distributors.

No illnesses have been reported as of February 20, 2026.

Risk:

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. In healthy individuals, it may cause short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
