Company announcement

Voomf Play Yard and Crib Mattresses are being recalled due to potential entrapment and fire hazards.

The play yard mattresses may not adequately fit certain play yards, creating gaps that pose a deadly entrapment hazard and risk of suffocation for infants.

The full-sized crib mattresses fail to meet mandatory flammability standards, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire.

One report of inadequate mattress fit has been received, but no injuries have been reported.

The products were sold online at Amazon.com from January 2026 through May 2026.

Risk:

The recalled mattresses violate mandatory safety standards. Play yard mattresses may not adequately fit certain play yards, posing a deadly entrapment hazard where babies can suffocate in gaps between an undersized mattress, or extra padding, and side walls of a product, especially when the infant’s face becomes trapped against the side and the mattress, preventing the infant from breathing. Full-sized crib mattresses violate mandatory flammability standards for mattress sets, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire.
