VESTA.DS is recalling VST brand tankless water heaters due to a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The exhaust duct can crack, allowing gases to escape inside the home.

There have been 33 reports of cracked exhaust ducts, but no injuries reported.

The water heaters were sold nationwide from May 2017 through July 2025.

About 36,700 units in the United States and 3,500 in Canada are affected.

Recall Date: October 16, 2025

Risk:

The exhaust duct can crack, allowing gases to escape inside of the home, posing a carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning hazard that can result in death or serious injury.

Impacted states: Nationwide
