Company announcement

Demers Food Group is voluntarily recalling select Scott & Jon's Shrimp Scampi with Linguini due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The recall was initiated because the product contains linguini pasta from Nate’s Fine Foods, which was recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The product was distributed nationally to wholesale distributors and operators between September 15, 2025, and September 25, 2025.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the Demers Food Group recall.

Risk:

Listeria monocytogenes is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
