Audio Partnership is recalling Cambridge Audio Yoyo (M) Portable Bluetooth Speakers due to a fire hazard.
The lithium-ion batteries within the speakers can overheat, posing a fire risk.
Four incidents involving fire, smoke, and the ejection of battery material have been reported, though no injuries have occurred.
The speakers were sold nationwide at specialty stores and online at cambridgeaudio.com, Amazon.com, and eBay from 2016 through 2022.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the speakers, disconnect them from the power supply, cease charging, and store them away from combustible materials. Contact Audio Partnership for a full cash refund of $218.
Recalled lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of according to local and state ordinances, not in general trash or recycling, due to the fire risk they present.
