FSIS has issued a public health alert for a ready-to-eat beef jerky product due to misbranding and the presence of undeclared wheat, a known allergen.
The affected product was produced on various dates between August 7, 2025, and July 1, 2026, and was distributed to three retail locations in Oklahoma.
No confirmed reports of adverse reactions have been received. Consumers who have purchased this product are advised not to consume it and should dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase.
Risk:
Consumption of this product by individuals with a wheat allergy or sensitivity could result in serious or life-threatening allergic reactions. The product is no longer available for purchase, and no adverse reactions have been reported.
