Grand Central Bakery is recalling loaves of Potato Sourdough bread due to the potential presence of pieces of metal.
The affected products were distributed to grocery stores, select restaurants, wholesalers, and four Grand Central Bakery Café locations within the Seattle and Tacoma Metro areas in Washington.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall.
The recall was initiated after a pallet nail was discovered in a loaf of Potato Sourdough Bread, which was sold on August 10, 2026.
Risk:
No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. However, consumption of food containing foreign objects like metal can pose a choking hazard, cause internal injuries, or dental damage.
