Walmart has reannounced the recall of Mainstays 9-Drawer Fabric Dressers due to tip-over and entrapment hazards. These dressers were sold nationwide at Walmart stores and online, and also distributed post-recall through liquidators in California, Michigan, Indiana, and Florida.
No incidents or injuries have been reported.
The recall was reannounced on August 27, 2026.
Risk:
The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in risk of serious injuries or death to children. The dressers violate the mandatory safety standard as required by the STURDY Act.
