Fastbuy has recalled Zimtown Portable Gas and Fuel Cans due to a violation of the Children’s Gasoline Burn Prevention Act.
The containers' closures are not child-resistant, creating a risk of burns and poisoning for children.
The products were sold online at Walmart.com and Zimtown.com from May 2026 through July 2026.
No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Consumers should stop using the cans immediately and contact Fastbuy for a full refund. They are instructed to disassemble and dispose of the spout separately and mark the container as 'RECALLED'.
Risk:
The fuel containers violate the requirement for closures under the Children’s Gasoline Burn Prevention Act because the closure is not child-resistant, posing a risk of burns and poisoning to children.
