One incident has been reported where a child experienced respiratory distress or choking due to the toy's strings. No deaths have been reported.
Risk:
The silicone strings on the teething toys are smaller and longer than permitted by mandatory toy standards. This design allows the strings to reach the back of a child’s throat and become lodged, creating a serious risk of respiratory distress and a deadly choking hazard.
