LLK TRADING INC. is recalling 200g packages of “Needle Mushrooms” due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled product was distributed to Bally Produce Corp. in Maspeth, New York, and sold to DATANG SUPERMARKET INC.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

Risk:

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. In healthy individuals, it may cause short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
