Company announcement

Endico Potatoes Inc. is recalling frozen peas and carrots and mixed vegetables due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled products were distributed to multiple states including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Florida between July 18, 2025, and August 4, 2025.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

Risk:

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. In healthy individuals, it may cause short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
