Maple Leaf Foods, Inc. is recalling approximately 12,036 pounds of not ready-to-eat (NRTE) smoked bacon products.

These products were imported from Canada without the required import reinspection, raising potential health concerns.

The recall affects products distributed to Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

No illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with this issue. Consumers should not consume these products and should return them or throw them away.

Risk:

This is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death (Class I).
