New Age International Inc is recalling Signature Enoki Mushrooms due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
The recalled mushrooms were distributed to a retail store and distributor in New York City.
Consumers who purchased the affected product from August to September 2025 should destroy it or return it for a full refund.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
Risk:
The organism can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy persons may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, L. monocytogenes infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
