This recall involves Supernova and Typhoon lighters due to the risk of serious injury or death from fire and burn hazards.

The lighters violate the mandatory standard for cigarette lighters because they do not have the required child-resistant mechanism.

The lighters were sold nationwide at small independent stores and online from October 2023 through March 2026.
