Petmate is recalling Pet Zone-branded Laser Pointer & LED Ball pet toys due to a violation of the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell batteries.

The LED-illuminated plastic sphere can break upon impact, making the button cell batteries easily accessible, posing an ingestion hazard.

The toys were sold at Menards stores nationwide and online from September 2024 through March 2025.

No injuries have been reported.
