Company announcement

Harvest NYC Inc is recalling 200g packages of Enoki Mushroom due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled mushrooms were distributed nationwide in retail stores.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

Consumers who purchased the product between January 11, 2025 and January 31, 2025 are urged to destroy or return them for a full refund.

Risk:

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. In healthy persons, it may cause short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
