Gias Foods, Inc. of New York is recalling two lots of bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine.
The recall is due to the potential for contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
The affected product was distributed nationwide to Walmart Inc. stores.
As of September 15, 2026, no illnesses have been reported.
The issue was discovered through routine sampling programs conducted by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Risk:
Listeria monocytogenes is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria monocytogenes infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
