Morovan is recalling Nail Polish Remover due to the presence of methylene chloride and chloroform.

These substances are prohibited in cosmetic formulations.

The product was sold on Amazon.com from August 2025 to January 2026.

No injuries have been reported.

Risk:

The nail polish remover was found to contain methylene chloride and chloroform, methylene chloride, in cosmetics, is a concern because it has been shown to cause cancer in animals and is likely harmful to human health. Methylene chloride is a prohibited ingredient which is not allowed in cosmetics at any level under FDA regulations.
