This recall involves the Merkury Innovations Hot + Cool Heating and Cooling Fan, model number MI-DHC02.
The product was sold nationwide at TJMaxx, Marshalls and Sierra stores from October 2024 through October 2025 for about $30.
Merkury Innovations has received two reports of the fan catching fire, including one report of smoke damage to property. No injuries have been reported.

The fan can overheat, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a fire hazard.
