This recall involves children’s fingerpainting kits due to the presence of hazardous substances, specifically methanol and ethylene glycol, and regulated phthalates.

These substances violate the Federal Hazardous Substances Act and the federal phthalate ban.

There have been 18 reports worldwide, including one in the United States, of strong paint odor, skin irritation, and swollen lymph nodes.

The kits were sold online at TheKiddoSpaceStore.com and Amazon.com from June 2023 through February 2025.
