Global Mix Inc. is recalling Niwali Tejocote Capsules and Niwali Tejocote Pieces, distributed nationwide through ebay.com and Everymarket.com. The recall was initiated after FDA analysis identified the products as Thevetia peruviana, or yellow oleander, which is highly toxic. No illnesses or adverse events have been reported to the company as of September 21, 2026.
Risk:
All parts of the yellow oleander plant contain cardiac glycosides, which are highly toxic to humans and animals. Ingestion can cause severe or even fatal neurologic, gastrointestinal, and cardiovascular adverse health effects, including nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, abdominal pain, changes in heart rhythm, and arrhythmia.
