Fi is recalling dog supplements due to potential Salmonella contamination traced to an ingredient supplied to its manufacturer. The manufacturer has halted production during the investigation.
The affected products were distributed directly to consumers and through online retailers Amazon and Chewy.com.
No illnesses or deaths have been reported in connection with this recall as of September 8, 2026.
Risk:
Salmonella can affect animals eating the product, and there is a potential risk to humans from handling contaminated products or from animal waste after the animals have ingested the product. Healthy people infected with Salmonella should monitor themselves for symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and fever. Rarely, Salmonella can result in additional ailments, including arterial infections, endocarditis, arthritis, muscle pain, eye irritation, and urinary tract symptoms. Pets with Salmonella infections may be lethargic and have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever, and vomiting. Infected but otherwise healthy pets can be carriers and infect other animals or humans.
