Company announcement

Elite Treats LLC is recalling a single lot of Chicken Chips for Dogs due to potential contamination with Salmonella.

The recalled product was sold to feed stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

Risk:

Salmonella can cause illness in pets and serious, sometimes fatal, infections in people. Symptoms in people include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and fever. Pets may be lethargic and have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever, and vomiting.

Impacted states: AL, FL, GA, NC, SC
